Animal Aid secretly filmed at filmed inside nine randomly chosen slaughterhouses and found evidence of cruelty and lawbreaking in eight of them. The widespread cruelty, suffering and breaches of animal welfare laws discovered disprove assertions that slaughter in the UK is 'welfare-friendly' and tightly regulated.
