Saturday 22 November: Animal Aid South West Christmas Without Cruelty Festival 2014

Corn Exchange, Market Street, Exeter EX1 1BU. 10am-4.15pm. FREE ENTRY More than 40 stalls, a vegan café and a chance to meet the South West Green MEP, Molly Scott-Cato. See all the details. Please come along!

Saturday 29 November: Viva!'s Incredible Vegan Christmas, Bristol

At Bristol City Hall, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TR from 10:30am to 4pm. A celebration of all things vegan; campaigns, merchandise and resources from Viva! with free food tastings, cookery demonstrations and talks. Over thirty cruelty-free stalls from animal charities and vegan companies. Free entry. Find out more on the event website.

Saturday 29 November: National March against Live Exports, Ramsgate

Meet at 12 noon at Ellington Park, Ramsgate CT11 9TD for a march and rally at the marina. Speakers include Kent Action Against Live Exports, CIWF, RSPCA, Green Party and Thanet Against Live Exports. There is an after party with music and vegan food starting at 4pm at the Churchill Tavern. See the Facebook event page for more details.

December 2014

Saturday 6 December: Compassionate Derby

From 10:30am - 4:30pm at St Peter's Church, St Peter's Churchyard, Derby DE1 1NN. Free entry. There will be stalls selling a range of cruelty-free food and lifestyle products, charity and campaigning stalls, plus free samples, children's activities, a diverse program of talks throughout the day and a generous raffle. Saturday 6 December: Cruelty Free Christmas Fair, Shrewsbury

From 10am to 3pm at the Shropshire Wildlife Trust, 193 Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6AH, Shropshire Veggies and Vegan have organised a Cruelty Free Christmas Fair features vegan food, stalls, tombola and raffle. Goody bags for the first 100 visitors. Full details on their website.

Sunday 7 December: Animal Aid's Christmas Fayre 2014

Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX. Over 100 stalls, a choice of vegan caterers and entertainment, see all the details. Our key speakers this year are Caroline Lucas, Green MP, and Peter Tatchell, human and animal rights campaigner. Hope to see you there!

Tuesday 9 December: Rally for Nature, London

Free event at Church House Conference Centre, Dean's Yard, Westminster, London SW1P 3NZ from 10:15am. The RSPB, Wildlife Trusts, League Against Cruel Sports and Dr Mark Avery – supported by Butterfly Conservation, Ramblers and the Mammal Society – have organised a Rally for Nature at Church House Conference Centre and the Houses of Parliament. A chance to meet your MP and talk to staff from the above organisations. Meeting followed by a rally and walk to the Houses of Parliament. Find out more and register.


Friday 20 February: Protest outside Japanese embassy, London

Protest the slaughter and capture of dolphins and small whales in Taiji, Japan at the Japanese embassy, 101-104 Piccadilly, London W1J 7JT. Bring posters, banners, whistles or inflatables. Starting at 12 noon and finishing with a minutes silence and candles being lit around 6pm for the dolphins and whales of Taiji. More details on the Facebook event page.
