HEALTH CHARITIES AND ANIMAL TESTING
While many health charities fund or conduct experiments on animals, there are many more who direct their resources toward non-animal research or to help sufferers in other ways. Some charities may not be directly involved in animal research but are members of the Association of Medical Charities – an organisation that supports and promotes the use of animals in laboratories.
Below is a list of health charities and their status. This list is not definitive, as policies change. Please contact Animal Aid should you have received a reply from a charity about their animal testing policy, so that we may keep this file up to date.
