Focus - stick to paint, not pets

Our campaign began in February 2000, with the object of persuading the DIY chain Focus (formerly Focus Do It All) to abandon the sale of all animals.

In October 2000 Focus announced that it was to end the sale of reptiles in all its branches. And then in February 2002 Focus announced that it would discontinue the sale of birds and small mammals. In July 2003 Animal Aid received a guarantee from Focus' commercial director that it will stop the sale of all animals including fish in its stores within the next two years.
