Animal Aid


  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, mashed
  • root ginger, grated
  • sunflower oil or vegetable oil
  • tomato puree
  • soya sauce
  • miso - barley or rice - paste, one teaspoonful


  1. Place onions, garlic and ginger in a saucepan with a little oil.
  2. Cook until beginning to turn brown.
  3. Add tomato puree and soya sauce to taste.
  4. Stir in water left over from boiling potatoes, or other vegetables, to suit the consistency required.
