Very Easy Gingerbread
- 220g self-raising flour
- 225g sugar
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 225ml soya milk
- 4oz margarine
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
Method
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Meanwhile over a gentle heat, stir the soya milk, margarine and golden syrup until dissolved.
- Then add bit by bit to the dry stuff.
- Cook at Gas Mark 2 for one hour, with sheet of tin foil on top.
- Store well wrapped.
