Animal Aid

Animal welfare

The majority of animals are reared in factory farms, denied fresh air and proper exercise. Throughout the process of forced impregnation, fattening, transport and slaughter, the objective of the farming and meat industries is to extract maximum profit.

Yet what we have seen over and over in recent years is that the more animals are stressed and exploited, the more likely they are to get sick. And sick animals can often result in a human health crisis for the human consumer and a financial catastrophe for the meat trade itself.
