Animal Aid's Christmas Fayre 2011
Posted 18 July 2011
Animal Aid's annual Christmas Fayre will be on Sunday 4th December 2011 at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 from 10am until 5pm.
Entry £2, under 11s free
Our keynote speaker this year is the veteran campaigner, Peter Tatchell, who will be speaking on ‘For Human Rights and the Rights of Other Animals’ at 12 noon. Our guest speakers include Dr Adrian Stallwood, our Scientific Consultant, and author of our recently published major report on medical research charities: Victims of Charity and Dene Stansall, our Horse Racing Consultant. Refer to the programme for the full details of speakers and times.
In addition, there will be more than 95 stands promoting ethical living and cruelty-free products – representing campaigning groups, animal sanctuaries, ethical companies and food outlets. Everything on sale will, of course, be vegan and non-animal tested, so it’s the ideal venue to stock up on all your Christmas gifts and have an informative and fun day out at the same time. Catch up with friends in one of our vegan cafes, listen to inspiring talks by our guest speakers, take part in our ever popular Press ups competition, or just shop 'tll you drop! Check out all the latest animal-friendly products and don’t forget to stock up on your supply of Christmas chocolates! Then for children there will be a special workshop and face painting for them to enjoy and a crèche to leave you free for an hour or so. Whatever, you do, you can be sure of meeting like-minded people in a congenial atmosphere. This is the event of the year, so don’t miss it!
