Jacko Completes Walk for the Animals 2009
Posted 8 June 2009
Thank you to everyone who attended Animal Aid’s sixth annual Sponsored Walk for the Animals on London’s Hampstead Heath, and to all of our supporters who sponsored Jacko to cover the 10 km.
The rain stopped at midday, so conditions were perfect for a walk. Around 50 supporters joined Jacko to raise money for Animal Aid.
Everyone received an exclusive "I walked for Animal Aid" T-shirt and a glass or two of bubbly.
Four organisations donated their goods or services to the walk, and we would like to say a big thank you to them. They are:
- Vegetarian Shoes for supporting the walk
- Vegan Campaigns for providing delicious refreshments
- T-Shirt and Sons for the eye-catching T-shirts
- Vinceremos for the after-walk bubbly
In order to ensure that the event is as big a success as possible, we are very keen to receive sponsorship money that hasn't already been sent in. If you have not done so, please could you send it in to Karin as soon as you can. Once we receive your sponsorship money, we will send you a special certificate of completion signed by Animal Aid’s director, Andrew Tyler.
