Animal Aid

During the Christmas period, aid charities push their animal gift fundraising initiatives harder than ever. Animal Aid continues to oppose offering animals to impoverished areas of the world because it adds to the burdens of the world’s poorest people, damages their environment, uses up much-needed resources and, of course, harms animals. And in the words of the respected conservation charity World Land Trust, it is ‘environmentally unsound and economically disastrous’. To combat these myths, Animal Aid has produced a new leaflet, which is ideal for handing to family and friends or sending out in your own Christmas cards.
