Hunt Watch is a newly formed group that has been set up as a base for all hunt monitoring groups in the UK. It will monitor fox, hare, stag/deer and mink hunts, as well as hare coursing.

Even now that hunting with dogs has been banned, there is still lots of work to do. It is widely known that hunts intend to continue going out; some may stay within the law by drag hunting, but others will totally ignore the ban. This is where Hunt Watch comes in and you can help.

They are interested in building a picture of what hunts are doing now the ban has come in, whether it is legal activities such as drag hunting or continuing to hunt our wildlife with dogs. If you see or know of any hunt going out, let Hunt Watch know in confidence and they will alert their local contact. They are keen to get as much information on the hunts as possible.

Hunt Watch is in need of more hunt monitors and people prepared to be local contacts. See the website for more information: www.huntwatch.info.
