Please come and help us protest against the cruel circus

The Great British Circus will be at Mabledon Farm between Tonbridge and Southborough, from 3rd to 7th June. Do you live in the Tonbridge area? Please come along and join our protests.

This is the worst circus in the UK with more wild animals than any other. Earlier this year, the circus imported three elephants from Germany. Sonja, Delhi and Wanna Manna will be transported around the country throughout the summer and made to perform for the public.

Sonja, an African female elephant in her 30s was orphaned during a ‘cull’ in the mid-1970s and sold to a circus. Delhi, an Asian female elephant, has previously had problems with her legs, collapsing in Germany in 2006 and 2008. On both occasions it required firefighters with a crane to rescue her. She and her other Asian companion Wanna Manna were sold to circuses by Burmese logging camps.

The circus is also the only British circus to still have performing tigers and lions.

The circus is no place for wild animals such as elephants, tigers and lions. These animals belong in the wild.

Make your voice heard – come and join the protest. If you think you might be able to join us, call 01732 364546 or email Ashley to get all the details.

We hope that you can come along!
