Campaigning Against Animal experiments
- Order a free Animal Experiments info pack
- Be a ‘cruelty-free’ consumer. Always buy cosmetics, toiletries and household products which have the BUAV’s ‘leaping bunny’ logo to show they have not been animal tested. Read more about Going Cruelty-free.
- Write to companies that test their products on animals. Ask them to conform to BUAV’s Humane Cosmetics/Household Products Standard.

- Write to your MP asking them to support moves to replace animal experiments with non-animal methods. See points to cover in your email/letter.
- Ask your teacher if you can have a speaker from Animal Aid to talk about animal experiments. Find out more about school talks .
- Collect signatures for our petition to End Primate Experiments
- Spread the word. Order copies of our leaflets, posters and stickers on animal experiments. Check out the Resources section .
- Design an information display on animal testing for the notice board in your school library. Find out more about doing library displays.
- Be a humane donor – only give donations to medical charities that use non-animal research methods. Read our list of charities that do and don’t test
- Ask your MP to Support EDM 1279, which calls for a total ban on animal testing of cosmetics in the EU – see the action alert.
