Walking for Animal Aid
[use sponsored walk 2007 pic - Alex is the one in the striped shirt in the middle]Animal Aid held its annual sponsored 10km walk on Hampstead Heath in London on 12 June. The fabulous Alex, our youth contact in Leeds, didn’t let the fact that the walk was happening in London stop her from participating. She set up a sponsored walk locally for the same day. With her dad’s help, she marked out a 10km walk in a local park, and then she recruited hard to get walkers out there, and she raised over £300! Fantastic work, Alex!
