Our sessions last 1–2 hours. The cookery demonstration takes 15–20 minutes, and students can then cook the dish themselves (we cover the cost of the ingredients). During the rest of the session students can discover more about veganism through engaging presentations, films, activities and discussions.Â

Our speakers are not professional chefs; they are volunteers who have passed our cookery demonstration training course. All are knowledgeable and passionate about the issues and have experience working with school students. They are all trained to deal with the issues raised in a sensitive way and to encourage students to articulate their own views. All speakers have an enhanced DBS certificate.Â
