Global Vegfest will be hosted online September 18th 19th and again December 18th 19th 2021, free to attend and set to attract a global audience and participation, with livestreams, presentations and performance from across the globe all weekend, before a series of dates to be announced for 2022.
Catering for both seasoned vegans and those completely new to plant based living, Global Vegfest will include cookery demos, nutrition talks, debates and discussion around vegan philosophy and lifestyle, activism and many of the attractions visitors would find at a live event, including a global marketplace for the latest vegan products – and in particular a wealth of knowledge, experience and experts in the field of plant based living.
“Live events are returning slowly, but are vulnerable still, and will be the first to shut in response to new variants and new waves of infections” says Tim Barford, creator of Global Vegfest, “and this is a fact of life for everyone these coming months and potentially years. We are passionate and dedicated to spreading the vegan cause, with 40 years experience promoting veganism, and are in touch with some of the most influential and enlightened vegan people anywhere, and these online events give us the platform to develop a global influence and audience for the first time. They are inclusive, free and importantly, able to reach across the world, joining vegan communities and activists often for the first time.”
“We have already gone global in a sense with the creation of our new vegan activists magazine Força Vegan, which has connected activists and vegan communities around the globe in its first two issues. And our 2nd online magazine Plant Powered Planet has furthered that reach. Global Vegfest takes us to another level and we can’t wait to bring the event to a growing global vegan community this autumn and into 2022.”
