About our Education Department

The Animal Aid Education Department has been supporting humane education in schools for over 30 years.

Our message of compassion and respect for all living creatures has reached thousands of young people across the UK. We are the only UK-based organisation that offers resources, talks and workshops on all animal cruelty issues.

Each year we deliver hundreds of workshops and talks to students from Year 1 to sixth form. All of our resources, talks, workshops and cookery demonstrations are free to teachers, funded through generous donations from our supporters.

You can support our work in a variety of ways:

We’re looking for primary, secondary and FE teachers to help us develop new education resources and to give us feedback on a range of education matters.

If you would like more information about our teacher focus groups, or to apply, please email mark@animalaid.org.uk

Volunteering as a school speaker is a rewarding way to shape the future by fostering empathy in future generations and equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to make animal freedom a reality.
