Have you heard? A breathtaking arts initiative, ‘The Herds’ will be arriving in London this Friday.
Created by the same people behind the hard-hitting and much-loved ‘Little Amal’ – the 12-foot puppet of a Syrian refugee – The Herds represent public art and climate action on an unprecedented scale.
This is an ambitious coming together of culture and climate – these life-sized puppet animals will travel a 20,000km route as the herd crosses continents, from the Congo Basin to the Artic Circle.
You have a chance to spot them, as they have a couple of days in London and Manchester. Learn more about where and how to see them here.
Of course, at its core this is a message about the changes we need to make, to protect our planet and the many wonderful species who live here – and yes, that includes humans! There are many ways to do your bit for the planet, but the easiest and most effective is not to eat the residents.
Perhaps you’ve already stopped eating animals, but you still eat eggs and dairy, or maybe you’re not sure where to start? Why not try a new vegan recipe today or, better still, share a recipe with friends or family to help inspire them too!
There’s loads more information on our dedicated vegan webpages where you’ll also find plenty of delicious and nutrition recipes.
