“This was a fantastic session pitched just right for our year 1 and 2.”
Christine Starkl at Holton St Peter Primary School
“Ben pitched the lesson perfectly. There was a good mix of interactive activities, discussion, video and a task. The session went excellently.”
Francesca Dunn at High Halden C of E Primary School
“Children really enjoyed the whole workshop and very much enjoyed making their own food creatures (and they loved eating their creations!). All the year groups very much enjoyed the activity – it was nice that they all could have a hands‑on experience.”
Anna Lumley at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School
“I booked a workshop with Animal Aid to illuminate our Citizenship curriculum for our pupils, hoping to inspire them to be citizens who take care of their planet and all creatures within. The Animal Aid workshop certainly helped to do this with sessions designed for EYFS through to Year 6. It was fantastic to have these sessions that were able to engage the children at each stage of their learning, and the workshops were well-thought-out and age-appropriate.
Our children found the content interesting, and it was clear that lots of thought and reflection were prompted by the discussions throughout. Our workshop leader, Bridget, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, her passion for animal welfare evident in her animated delivery.
I am hoping to invite Animal Aid back in, in the future, and would certainly recommend a visit to other schools.”
Rachel Sutcliffe at The Daiglen School
“The children loved the quiz, and they took many new facts about animals with them.”
Tracey Johnston at Co‑op Beckfield Primary Academy
“The pupils were engaged and genuinely excited. It was truly lovely to see them showing such empathy and thoughtfulness when talking about the animals’ feelings.”
Ligija Roberts at Ferry Lane Primary School
“Thank you so much for providing this opportunity. The children loved the whole session. They loved the quiz and the cookery demonstration and, of course, eating the Bolognese.”
