5 things you can do right now to End Animal Testing

The footage we shared at the weekend was deeply upsetting – we get it. But together, we can use this momentum to End Animal Testing.

For the first time in over a decade, the use of rabbits, rats, dogs, pigs and primates being harmed by toxicity testing in UK laboratories has been captured on film and shared with the public, released exclusively in the Mail on Sunday and The Mirror.

If you haven’t seen it yet, please arm yourself with the knowledge (there is a ‘safe’ viewing option) and get ready to take action…

Brand new footage

This footage is unprecedented, showing a level of cruelty that’s gone unseen for years.

1. Expose the truth: Share the footage

Footage from inside UK laboratories is unprecedented and incredibly hard to obtain due to increased security and lack of industry transparency. That’s why it’s so important to share it far and wide: the more people who see it, the harder it becomes to ignore.

You can share the URL with friends and family – www.toxicity.inc/gb – or by downloading our social media assets. We have also created brand new campaign materials (more on these below!)

2. Make your voice heard: Email your MP

Animals in laboratories are denied their most basic freedoms, including their voice. That’s why we need to call on elected officials to support our asks:

  • Suspend all new tests on animals
  • Conduct a full review of current licenses
  • Deliver on their promise to replace animals in science

You’ll notice on the dedicated toxicity.inc microsite, that there is an MP action.
Please make use of this – after all, your MP works for you.

3. Push for change: Urge your MP to attend the debate on animals in science

Whilst contacting your MP, why not also call on them to attend the parliamentary debate on Monday 27th April following Camp Beagle’s Government petition.

Contact your MP urging them to be there, and to stand on the right side of history.

3. Stand with us: Join World Day for Animals in Laboratories THIS SATURDAY

Join thousands of people coming together to demand change. Your presence sends a powerful message that animal testing cannot continue.

  • When: Saturday 25th April at 11am
  • Where: Meeting at Trafalgar Square, London
  • What: Bring your best placards as we march through London
