Reclaim the countryside this summer!

Do you oppose the killing of animals for "sport"? You’re not alone – the vast majority of people also hate bloodsports. This summer, we're calling all nature lovers and activists to show their opposition with organised events across the countryside.

This year, as well as asking you to leaflet and run street stalls, we are also encouraging everyone to Reclaim the Countryside!

Why? For too long, shooters and hunters have used the countryside as their own private playground where they indulge their cruelty. But the countryside doesn’t “belong” to them. It’s time to take it back.

We’re calling on all activists, nature enthusiasts, bird watchers – everyone! and will be helping to coordinate events across the country. Choose an activity, let us know about it – and we’ll help spread the word to make sure you have a compassionate bunch of folks to join you!

Got an idea? Let us know

Whether it's a vegan picnic in the great outdoors, an organised bird watch, or visiting a local nature reserve, let us know and we'll help spread the word.

You don’t have to be an expert or travel far, and your activity doesn’t have to be complicated – this is all about ordinary people getting out into nature and enjoying it, celebrating it and reclaiming the countryside as a place for relaxation, socialising and, of course, compassion!

There are loads of apps, groups and web pages to help you organise your activity. Just get in touch and we can help.
