Pupils are introduced to the concept of the ‘Five Freedoms’ in animal welfare, discussing the meaning of this for the sanctuary animals featured in the Meet the Animals! film.
Pupils then work in groups to complete a poster activity that involves deciding which freedoms or needs are met for pigs and chickens in a sanctuary and factory farm setting.
