Amazon Rainforest Emergency: London Brazilian Embassy Action
Embassy of Brazil in London, SW1Y 5BL
Thursday 14 Feb 19 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This year on Valentine’s Day, the Climate Save Movement and coalition partners are organising global actions at Brazilian embassies and consulates around the world and at the UN building in NYC on February 14, 2019. The demonstration in London will begin at 12pm and end at 5pm, with guest speakers to be announced in due course.
The single most effective action that we can all take to save the rainforests is to adopt a vegan lifestyle, since the vast majority of the world’s soy production (much of which takes place in the
Amazon) is used as animal feed. Hence, this day of action will also carry a pro-vegan message, encouraging the public to think about how our own actions have an impact on the world around us, as well as sending a clear message to Bolsanaro that the future of our planet will always take priority over corporate gain.
