Waterloo Vegan Market – Thursday evenings in July

Opposite Aintree Racecourse, L9 5AS
Saturday 14 Apr 18 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
There will be a remembrance vigil for the 49 horses who have died as a result of racing at the Grand National 3-day meeting since the year 2000.
We will have special placards to hand out to those who join us on the day, which depict the names of the horses who have been killed at the Grand National meeting. It will be a respectful, peaceful protest aimed at raising awareness.
Location: Opposite the main entrance to Aintree Racecourse, at the bottom of the walkway to Aintree Station. (N.B. Parking is impossible at the demo location, so if you are coming by car, you may need to park near one of the other train stations on the Liverpool Central to Aintree line and continue your journey by rail.)
If you can’t attend the demonstration, you can order leaflets to hand out locally.
If you haven’t already, please sign our government petition calling for action on race horse deaths. Thank you!
