We need 100,000 signatures on our petition by midnight on 17 November in order to trigger a parliamentary debate on horse slaughter, and force the government to take action on the root of the problem.
If the government caps the number of horses produced, then there will be fewer ‘surplus’ animals and this will remove the market for dealers who buy up horses and sell them for slaughter.
If you haven’t signed the petition, please do so immediately.
If you have signed, please spend the next few days emailing, texting and contacting everyone you know on social media, asking them to sign the petition!
It’s our best chance to stop horse slaughter.
Sign now. Save horses.Yesterday, Animal Aid hosted a roundtable in Westminster, to meet with MPs and other invited guests to discuss the ending the LD50 and other animal tests.
