Marius the giraffe

Following the killing of Marius the giraffe in a Danish zoo, Animal Aid’s Director, Andrew Tyler, wrote an opinion piece for The Mirror describing the killing as ‘business as usual for the modern zoo’ and urging those who are upset by the death of Marius to ‘resolve never again to visit a zoo, marine animal establishment, safari park or any other prettily-named animal prison’.
