Morrisons has become the latest supermarket to commit to labelling all of its own-brand vegan products, following Animal Aid’s #MarkItVegan campaign.
Animal Aid launched our #MarkItVegan campaign in 2016, and since then we have made huge progress in getting major supermarkets to clearly label their own-brand vegan products: Asda, Tesco and Aldi have all previously committed to doing just that!
Morrisons had – up until this point – been inconsistent with regards to labelling their vegan products, and this created confusion amongst those purchasing plant-based products. By clearly indicating which own-brand products are suitable for vegans, Morrisons will clear up any confusion.
