The breeding season for game birds will be underway soon, which means that many thousands of pheasants and partridges used as ‘breeding stock’ will be confined to oppressive metal battery cages.
Our undercover investigations have documented the terrible conditions inside the cages and how the birds, who never lose their desire to be free, attack one another from the frustration of their confinement. This can cause terrible injuries and suffering.
We want an end to the killing of all animals for sport- so please take a moment to contact your MP and ask them to support a ban on the terrible battery cages being used to imprison these poor birds.
