In the 1980s, Mark was working on a pig farm. What he saw shocked him and resulted in him going vegetarian.
Mark was one of more than 3,500 people who took part in Animal Ad’s Summer Vegan Pledge last year, and one of the 53% of participants who chose to remain vegan afterwards.
In this video, Mark talks briefly about his time working on a pig farm where he saw some of the most shocking sights which made him realise that raising and slaughtering animals for ‘food’ is a cruel and unnecessary process. As a result, more than 30 years ago, he decided to stop eating meat.
