There is a big misconception that being vegan is expensive, but that needn’t be the case.

Some of the cheapest foods available in shops are plant-based; beans, pulses, legumes, vegetables, fruits, potatoes and wholegrains. Being vegan doesn’t mean you have to splash out on fancy meat replacements (although they are delicious!). So, you can do your bank balance some good by opting for cheaper plant-based protein sources.
