This was the only one of the nine slaughterhouses we filmed where we did not capture breaches of the law on camera. However, following our investigation, the Meat Hygiene Service Official Veterinarian took the opportunity to provide ‘refresher training’ to the slaughterers at that establishment.

Parliamentary debate on the use of dogs in laboratories
Yesterday, Michelle, our Head of Campaigns, headed into London to attend the debate on the government petition which urged ‘Ban immediately the use of dogs in scientific and regulatory procedures’.
