More than 3,000 people have signed up to this year's Summer Vegan Pledge.

The Summer Vegan Pledge is a 30-day pledge for non-vegans to try a vegan diet for the month of June. Last year, more than 3,700 people took part with 53% remaining vegan afterwards and an additional 44% reducing their consumption of animal products.

So far, more than 3,000 people have pledged to go vegan this June, with more expected to sign up.

This year’s Summer Vegan Pledge has been backed by celebrities and well-known faces, including Countdown star Rachel Riley, Host of A Place in the Sun Jasmine Harman and actor Peter Egan.

Why should you consider trying vegan this June?

1) It’s good for animals!

2) It’s good for the planet!

3) It’s good for you!

But don’t just take our word for it, here’s what some previous participants had to say!
